    What is calculated and what is interpreted?

    Moon phase, illumination and position are approximate astronomical calculations. Tarot, the daily number and sign prompts are symbolic editorial interpretations. They neither establish facts about your life nor predict events.

    The practice is a chance to pause, frame a question and choose a next step you can check. Skip anything that does not fit your situation.

    Why does everyone see one date and one card?

    The edition changes at 00:00 UTC and is shared by all visitors. Your local date may differ. Moon information is calculated for 12:00 UTC: a daily overview, not its position at this instant.

    The date deterministically selects a card and orientation from all 78 cards. No personal data is used, and reopening the page does not change the result.

    How accurate is the Moon information?

    Phase and illumination use the mean synodic month of about 29.5306 days. The zodiac position uses a simplified geocentric model. This is an approximation, not a high-precision ephemeris.

    Near a phase or sign boundary, results may differ from precise calculations. Lunar age means days since the calculated new moon, not a separate lunar-day system based on local moonrise.

    How is my note stored, and what can Veritas see?

    A note is saved to browser storage only when you press Save note, and belongs to the edition date. We do not send its text, your sign or visit dates to the server.

    Another browser or device cannot see these records. Storage is not an encrypted vault: someone with access to this browser profile could read them. Do not save secrets. Deletion can be undone until you type again, save or leave the page.
